Where do I begin. Baby my life has forever changed with you not here with me. My heart hurts since the day I lost you. You have been my safe place for so long,  you taught me so much & you knew me inside & out.  I wait for you to come through the door with your warm smiles, surprise im here. This was your home nobody could ever fill the void in my heart. You will be in  my heart forever & you were my guardian angel just like when I said why haven't you run from all of this & you said to me you were my guardian angel that I could never forget ! You smiled even when I couldn't , you lifted me up & I just felt safe with you in my life. I loved you so much baby im so lost but I know your here with me in spirit. Please rest baby I will be okay I know you won't rest till you know im okay . I have been blessed baby from the day we met . You taught me & helped me to see my worth nobody ever did that for me. You loved me unconduionaly & for that you are forever in my heart.  Baby you have given me so much to reflect on & you believed in me even when I didn't. My heart breaks no matter where I go everyone here misses you so much you shined the light on so many here in Waterbury. Every where I go people ask for you, you touched so many my love . Rest baby im gonna get through this.  Everywhere I am I see you & hurts so much but im gonna be okay knowing you are watching over me.  I have so many good good good memories with the man that I fell in love with , you were my everything so in my heart you will be forever. From now till I see you again know my heart aches  every second of every day.. Please  give me the strength to go on cause without you by my side there is nothing for me here.  Please walk with me side by side & know I wait for the day I can be with you my love  ....

It is with such great, great sadness that I write this today after learning of Fred's passing.  I sent him a text and he did not reply and my heart sank. COVID-19 had intervened and I am so remorseful for not having stayed in contact with him. 

Fred was the kindest person I have ever known.  We commuted together on the Pascack Valley train to NYC.  He boarded in Emerson and I in Oradell.  I would look for him when I boarded.  His great laugh and greeting was the best thing ever to start the day.  

I first met Fred when he came to my rescue at the Hoboken train station one morning.  The heal of my spiky boot had caught the cuff of my pants and sent me hurdling down the staircase to the PATH train platform.  He ever so gently picked me up, and looked so sincerely in my eyes to ensure me he had my back.  He escorted me all the way to my office building.  

We would celebrate his birthday on May 27th with lunch at the Iron Horse, and then he would show me his garden.  He was  exceptionally fond of his Lincoln Rose.  

Fred was taken too soon from this world.  His generosity in spirit, compassion for all, huge smiles, and great bear laugh was what this world needs right now.   

Thank you, Fred,  for all the joy and smiles you gave to us.  

I love and miss you forever.  Rest in peace dear beloved angel.

We had the pleasure of sharing some beautiful New Years Cozy dinners with Freddie. He was always such a kind and overall great guy. His spirit was as grand as his laughter ! May he be eternally surrounded by the beauty of his gardens.

We just found out about Freddie's passing yesterday. He and Alex (whom Freddie knew as "Joe") worked together in the court system for many years. Freddie was also a longtime devoted volunteer for the Regina Opera Company in Brooklyn, where we are both also volunteers. He was a dear friend who rang in many New Years with us - the photo below was taken on December 31, 2018, the last time we were together. Always cheerful, always generous, always full of warmth and humor. He is sorely missed. Our deepest condolences to his family - Linda Cantoni & Alex Guzman

I just recently heard of Fred's passing and would just like to say he was a kind  gentleman. He called me at least once a year and always asked about my family. I loved working with Fred he was a very positive influence on me. I am sorry for your loss. 

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Although I haven't seen Freddy in many years it hurt my heart to see he has left us. I remember him as gentle giant. Never saw him without a smile on his face. He was always happy and it was contagious. Definitely lit up the room. A unique person. I know he is truly missed.

I am so sad to hear of Fred's passing.  I worked with Fred at the court and took the Pascack Valley line with him.  He was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met.   You always knew when Fred boarded the train car with his gregarious hellos to all aboard.  I was so happy for him when he retired, but missed his presence on the train and at work (and especially all the gardening advice he would give me...a green thumb I am not).  Although it was too brief, I hope he got to enjoy his years in retirement.  May he rest peace.

To the Family of Fred Guidotti,  
      Fred was a member of Sundial Garden Club in Hillsdale for many years, even before he became a Master Gardener of Bergen County.   We all loved Fred,  who was so much fun to talk to and to work with on our garden projects and our annual plant sale.  We also looked forward to his entertaining jokes at our Holiday Dinners.   He was  enthusiastic and  positive and caring of others, a great guy.   Fred is missed  and will  be long remembered.  Condolences to  his sister and his beloved nieces and nephews.   Inge Langer

Fred was such a kind  and polite  person. He will truly be missed. My condolences to Fred’s family. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. Part of Fred will always be with me.
