

She was born on June 24, 1934 in Yichu, Taiwan. After meeting and marrying her husband, Frank Lin, they decided to emigrate from their homeland and move to the United States. Fui-Fang was in her early 30’s when she arrived in the New York City area and began learning English. After starting a family, they settled into Bergen County, and lived and raised their children and grandchildren for the next 50 years together.
Fui-Fang loved attending church, cooking delicious Taiwanese meals for her family, and making her own clothes. Her friends knew her to be a proficient seamstress and would often seek her help for clothing alterations. She was most fulfilled when she was helping others. She loved to play hymns on the piano, and she was a doting grandmother to her 5 grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank, and their children; Nelson Lin, Suzanne van Veen and her husband Hans. She is the cherished grandmother of Brandon, Kyra, Lukas, Thijs and Johan.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visiting hour at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675, on Tuesday, January 18th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Prayer service at 11:00 AM. Interment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY held privately.
