George P. Foley, Sr.

FOLEY, George P. Sr., 79, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Kathleen (nee Neilson); his children Kathie of Midland Park, NJ, George and his wife Molly of Princeton Junction, NJ, Beth Foley Barnes and her husband Brian of Greenwood, MS; his grandchildren Luke, William, Caroline, Ruby, Orla and Elizabeth; his siblings Mary Foley Reilly of Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ, and Jeanne Foley Arechiga of Houston, TX; extended family Peg Szady and her husband David, Donna Neilson and her husband Joe and Kathy Neilson and her husband Bill as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Joseph, brother John and his parents George and Margaret.

George was an avid sports fan, enjoying all sports past and present. He was a champion Jeopardy fanatic and was very proud of his Irish heritage.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Friday, November 24th from 2-7PM. A Mass celebrating George’s life and faith will be held at St. John The Baptist R.C. Church in Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday, November 25th at 11AM with private cremation to follow.
