

Giacinto “Cinto” Corra, 88 of the Twp. of Washington, NJ passed away on August 29, 2013 at his home. Born in Revo, Italy he settled in the United States in 1946. Cinto lived in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Mary before moving to the Twp. of Washington 50 + years ago. Cinto was a US Army Veteran and retired as a carpenter. He was a member of the VFW Post 6192, a parishioner and former longtime usher at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and member of the Knights of Columbus of the church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary (Condorelli) Corra; his daughters, Francesca Corra and her husband Philip Brown and Kathy Ann Pessolano and her husband Anthony; his sons, the late Thomas Corra and his wife Ann, Stephen Corra and his wife Tammy, Joseph Corra and his wife Karen and James Corra; his sisters, Josephine Krokus and Rita Krokus; his brothers, Paul, Lino and Carl Corra; his 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Cinto was predeceased by his sister, Marie Caromil; and his brothers, Louis and Richard Corra. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Saturday 9am with a 10am funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Twp. of Washington, NJ. Interment will follow in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twp. of Washington Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the Tom Corra Memorial Foundation in his memory.
