Gil Ten Hoeve

Born and raised in Westwood, Gil was the daughter of Arline & Bernard Stein and the sister of Paula Stein.

Gil is survived by her husband Allen Ten Hoeve, with whom she was married for 41 years, her daughter Christine Duprez and her husband Steve and her son AJ Ten Hoeve and his fiancée Alexandra Barrington. She was the beloved grandmother to her three grandsons, Jackson, Jace & Beau Duprez, who she loved more than life.

Gil was the most loving, caring, compassionate, and fun person who loved her family immensely. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome. She never missed a childhood activity, game, or practice with her kids and loved to dance, watch tennis, spend time with her friends, and most importantly, create memories with her beautiful grandsons. Gil loved nature and animals, but none more than her beloved dog, Dakota. She will be deeply missed by many.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Friday, August 7th from 4-8PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood.
