Gino Morin

Gino Morin, of Park Ridge, NJ, age 81, passed away peacefully in his home on August 31, 2023 surrounded by his family. Gino was born in Susak, Croatia on February 10th, 1942 to the late Nicolo and the late Maria Morin. He immigrated first with his mother to Genova, Italy and eventually joined his father in Hoboken, NJ. There, he met and married his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria “Marucili” (nee Picinic). He was a production worker at Fabergé before working as a machinist at FlexiVan. Throughout his life he was a member of the Susak Klapa.

He is survived by his wife, Marucili, and three children: Nicholas and his wife Maria; Nancy Mezzatesta and her husband Glen; and Jeffrey and his wife Tamara. Loving grandfather of three grandchildren, Jared, Paige, and Matthew. He is also survived by a niece, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, sister, Maria Scrivanich, and her husband, Nikola.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in Park Ridge, NJ. Entombment following at the Garden of Memories of Township Of Washington, NJ.
