Gladys Ann De Marco

Gladys Ann De Marco, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Rocco. Devoted mother of Anthony and Richard; Elaine Palombit and her husband Joseph; Gail Davis and her husband Barry. Dear sister of Barbara, Janet, Marilyn, Anthony, and Robert. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A lifetime resident of Emerson, Gladys was a Registered Nurse at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood for over 30 years. She was a parishioner of R.C. Church of the Assumption, Emerson. Gladys was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Emerson Fire Dept., the Emerson Ambulance Corps, the Emerson Board of Health, and the Community Emergency Response Team. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at R.C. Church of the Assumption at 10:00 am, followed by interment in Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Gladys, to a charity of your choosing.
