Howard Emmett Minnick, 75, of Montvale, NJ passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. Loving husband of 51 years to Anita. Devoted father of Lydia Wallace (husband Michael), Elaine Brophy (husband Eric), Steven Minnick and his late wife Maureen. Devoted father-in-law to the late Paul Rizza. Proud Grandpa of Caroline, Jack, Henry, Sean, Brendan and Timothy. Brother of Marilyn Goodland. Howard was raised in Glendale, NY, a graduate of St. John's Prep in Brooklyn, NY and St. John's University Class of 1961. Retired as a Sales Executive after 30 years with The Scotts Lawn Company. Member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, Council #4486, Park Ridge, NJ. Member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Park Ridge, and served in the US Marine Corps. Howard was a loyal, good friend to all that knew him. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 4-8 PM. A funeral mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Park Ridge, NJ on Saturday at 10 AM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions to Our Lady of Mercy Academy, 25 Fremont Ave., Park Ridge, NJ or Knights of Columbus, Council #4486, Park Ridge, NJ 07656 would be appreciated.
