Ignazio Battaglia

BATTAGLIA, Ignazio “Sal”, 59, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Phyllis Battaglia. Devoted father of Danielle Battaglia and Michael and Karolina Battaglia. Cherished grandfather of Julianna Battaglia. Treasured son of Angelo Battaglia and the late Domenica Battaglia. Adored brother of Joseph, Phillip, Mario and Anthony Battaglia. He will be forever remembered fondly by his sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, mother and father-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sal, along with his family, was the owner of Rockland Bakery in Nanuet, NY.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 209 Woodcliff Avenue, Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Friday January 23 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass celebrating Sal’s life and faith will be held at the same church on Saturday January 24 at 10am. Entombment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers, family requests donation in Sal’s memory to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
