Ingeborg (Inge) Garcia, age 99, of Castle Rock, Colorado passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Inge was born and raised in Bad Homburg, Germany. She met the love of her life, Joseph Garcia, while he was in the Army, stationed in Germany. Married in 1948, she came to the United States as a young bride with her new husband. They lived in Midland Park, New Jersey, where they raised three children. In 1986, they moved to Allendale, New Jersey and in 2002 retired to Castle Rock, Colorado.
Predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Joseph, Inge leaves behind her sons Joey (Karen) and Lyle (Dawn) and her daughter, Gisele (Ron). She was a loving Nana to so many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Inge will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 9:30 AM at St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 69 Valley St, Hillsdale, NJ. Inge will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
