CALLAHAN, John "Jack" W. Sr., 84, of Westwood, NJ, formerly of Bergenfield, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Barbara (nee Roth); his children John W. Jr. and Colleen Bienert and her husband Joe; grandchildren Mason and Charlotte; his dear dog Cash and grandpuppy Sylvia as well as his sister Valerie Wahl of TN and nieces and nephews. Jack retired from working as a mechanic for the Woodcliff Lake DPW. He loved spending his free time fishing up in Cape Cod, MA as well as Montauk, NY. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ TODAY, Friday, September 1st from 3-8PM. The family will gather for a short prayer service at the funeral home Saturday, September 2nd at 10AM with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow.
