HANSON, Janice Lynn, 50, of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016. She was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Carroll and Marjorie Ashton. Beloved wife of Richard Hanson. Devoted mother of Jessica and Justin Hanson and her precious pups Spanky and Murphy. Dear sister of Larry Ashton and his wife Debbie, and Kenneth Ashton and his girlfriend Cheryl.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, April 15 from 2-4 and 6-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Janice’s life and faith will be held at R.C. Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ on Saturday, April 16 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Janice’s name to the American Cancer Society.
