Jeanette T. Cicatelli

Jeanette Cicatelli (nee Mastroberte) 95, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025. Jean was born October 31,1929. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late William “Chick” Cicatelli (2017). She was a devoted Mother to Patricia Di Giovanni (and her husband John), Tracy Cicatelli (and her husband Wendel), and Susan Heller (and her husband Ed). She was a nurturing “Nana” to her three grandchildren: Casey Heller, Johnny DiGiovanni (and his wife Shaynna), William Heller (and his wife Jennifer) and a Great grandmother to Rose DiGiovanni. Jean was a loving sister to Anne Bivona and Rosemary Mazzola and the late Frank and Michael Mastroberte. She was a precious Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her final days were spent peacefully with family and close friends at Villa Marie Claire Hospice.

Jean was born and raised in New York City’s little Italy and graduated from Cathedral H.S in NYC. She met her husband at St Patrick’s Old Cathedral School. They married and moved to Washington Twp, NJ to raise a family. Jean had an aptitude for accounting and worked at Airco/BOC in Montvale and later at Tomorrow’s Children in Hackensack. Jean honored her Italian roots as President of the Westwood Chapter of Ladies Unico. She stayed sharp and always had a lifelong love for learning. Jean enjoyed playing mahjong with the friends she made at Brightview Senior living during her final years.

Jean was a wonderful wife and mother and spoiled her family and friends with her cooking, baking and kindness. She cared for all her family members with undying devotion and love. Our family wishes to express appreciation to those of you who enriched her life. Her memory will always be a blessing to us all.

A memorial visitation for Jeanette will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 2:00pm- 4:00pm at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Villa Marie Claire at this website. www.holyname.org/foundation/donation.aspx
