Jeanne McManus

Born in the Bronx, New York, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Grace Killeen (née Straub). She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Denis Sr., and her brother, Patrick.

Jeanne is survived by her loving sons, Denis Jr. (Jill), Patrick, and Thomas (Christina); her brothers, James (Patricia) and John (Mary); and her cherished grandchildren, Grace, Maggie, and Colin, who brought her immense joy.

Jeanne attended St. Helena High School in the Bronx, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. For the past 15 years, she was an active and devoted member of Church of the Assumption in Emerson, New Jersey.

Jeanne will be remembered for her kind and warm nature, and for the open-hearted way she welcomed everyone into her life and her home. She had a genuine love for people and had a gift for making those around her feel comfortable, cared for, and at home in her presence.

Jeanne leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her deeply. Her warmth, generosity, and love will remain in their hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home, Westwood, NJ, on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, Queens, NY.
