Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother-in-law Barbara Demarest and his niece and goddaughter Isabella. He is survived by his wife Paige and their son Benjamin, his mother Lucretia, his father-in-law Allan Demarest, his brother James and his wife Jill, his brother Joseph and his wife Judith, his sister-in-law Denise Demarest, his nieces Katarina and Madina, his nephews Nicholas, Justin and Collin, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff grew up in Montvale, New Jersey, the youngest of 3 brothers. He attended St. Joseph Regional High School and Ramapo College where he received his degree in economics. Jeff met his wife Paige in high school 29 years ago and they had been inseparable ever since. Jeff loved being a dad and always said the day Ben was born was the best day of his life. Jeff became an assistant scout master because Ben loved being a Boy Scout. He learned to coach soccer because Ben wanted to play, even though football was the only sport Jeff liked. They did everything together from camping to comic con to volunteering. Ben describes his dad as a cool guy who was kind, hardworking, always there when I needed him, the best dad he could ask for and everything you could want in a dad and more.
