Joan T. Becker

Becker, Joan, 86, formerly of Little Ferry, NJ, left this life to be with her husband, Brudy Becker, on October 17, 2017. She leaves behind her three daughters and their husbands, Susan and Bill Weber, Ellen and John Lyons, and Barbara and Mitchell Park. She was a loving grandmother to Ellen Tullio, Tracey Birney, Kimberly and Kelly Lyons, and Daniel, Justine and Joshua Park. Great grandmother to Jenna, William, Emma and Gracie. Joan lived most of her life in Little Ferry. She was a member of the American Sokol Organization and Life Member of the Little Ferry Hose Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Later she moved to Westwood and then spent her last three years in Washington Twp. She enjoyed spending time at her home in Forked River, NJ. Joan was a great cook and loved to bake. She leaves behind many wonderful recipes for her family. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, October 20 from 4-8PM. The service celebrating Joan’s life and faith will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 21 at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
