HESS, Joan, (nee Frassa),78, of Emerson, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born in Teaneck, NJ to Anthony and Florence Frassa. Joan worked for Northvale Body and Fender as the Office Manager and subsequently worked for Welles Manufacturing, Northvale, NJ where she was the Administrative Assistant. Beloved mother of Michael Hess and his wife Donna of Emerson, NJ and Gary Hess and his wife Donna Young of West Milford, NJ. Dear sister of the late Robert Frassa. Loving grandmother of Justin, Kathryn, Rebecca and Steven. Cherished great grandmother of Haley. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, 4-8PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack
