John Daniel Gleeson

GLEESON, John D., 73, of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away with his loving family at his side, on Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born in the Bronx, NY to John and Ellen Gleeson. Beloved husband of Susan C. Gleeson. Devoted father of Tracy Walls and her husband Peter, Tara Deady and her husband Paul, Susan Gleeson and her husband Adam Feldman, Ellen DePinto and her husband Carl. Cherished grandfather of Brian, Matthew, Nicholas, Kelly, Sean, Paul, Megan, Owen, Abigail, Kathryn, Mackenzie and Julia. John is also survived by his loving extended family and friends. John retired from Max Mara, USA Inc. as the Vice President and Treasurer in 2007. He was an active member in both his church and community as well as volunteering at the Bergen County Division of Senior Services as a Medicare Counselor. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, October 21 from 3-8PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating John’s life and faith will be at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Wednesday, October 22 at 10:30AM.
