John S. Haws, 89 of Norwood, NJ passed away on January 20, 2015. John was born and raised in Westwood, NJ before moving to Norwood 50 years ago. John proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII as an aviation cadet. He was the owner and operator of Closter Motors in Closter, NJ retiring in 1988. He was predeceased by his wife Anne (Bournique) Haws in 1991. He is survived by his sons, Gregory Haws and Vincent Haws and his wife Geralyn; his granddaughters, Anne and Mary Haws as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Monday 8:45am with a 10am funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, Haworth, NJ. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Englewood, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children, P.O.
