John L. Hutchinson, formerly of Washington Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Beloved father of daughters Susan, Christine, Carol, Sharon, Lisa and sons Jay, Alex, Dean and predeceased by Johnny. Loving grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
John proudly served his country by serving in the US Navy during WWII aboard the SS Washaba. He also proudly served his veteran comrades as a volunteer at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus, NJ. He was also member of the Bergen Catholic Crusader Touchdown Club and the Knights of Columbus in Washington Township, NJ.
Funeral Liturgy at Church of St. John The Baptist, Hillsdale, NJ on Friday at 10:30 AM. The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus would be appreciated.
