John Anthony Mueller

MUELLER, John A., 80, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony and Anna Mueller. Beloved husband of Kathleen Mueller. Devoted father of Eileen and her husband Dave, John, Joseph and his husband Patrick, Kathy, Anne Marie and her husband Patrick, Rosemarie and her husband Michael, Jennifer and her husband Carlos. Dear brother of Anne Marie, James, Agnes and the late Joseph. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Anna Rose, Nicholas, Patrick, Danielle, David, Michael, Thomas, Christina, Marco, John Carlos, Christian and Matthew. John earned his Eagle Scout Rank, graduated from and taught at Manhattan College, and earned his Doctorate Degree from Lehigh University. He served our country proudly as a member of the U.S. Air Force. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, May 10 from 4 -8PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating John’s life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Thursday, May 11 at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations payable to Bethesda Lutheran Communities, with “Montville Group Home” in the memo would be appreciated..
