John C. Strole of Dumont, NJ for over 60 years on Friday, January 29, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Arlene J. Strole. Devoted father of Jim Strole, Tara Surowiec, Danielle Strole, Debra Guy, Kira Hudson and Eric Strole. Dear brother of Ardis Danon. Loving grandfather of Scott Strole, Jennifer Wakefield and 12 grandchildren. Graduated top of his class from Rutgers University with an electrical engineering degree. Long Career at Bendix (later known as Allied-Signal/Honewell). Train and Trolley enthusiast.
The family will receive their friends at Northern Valley Evangelical Church, 75 Stivers Street, Cresskill, NJ on Thursday, February 4th from 9-11am. Immediately following the visitation, a service celebrating John's life and faith will take place. Interment will be private. Memorial Gifts to Child Fund (www.childfund.org) would be appreciated.
