Jose A.Lopez, 87, of Westwood, NJ, formerly of Manhattan, NY on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Beloved husband of He-len Lopez of sixty-one years. Devoted father of Peter Lopez and his wife Nancy Saxton-Lopez of Ridgewood, NJ, Vincent Lopez of Westwood, NJ and Ofelia Monaghan of Westfield, NJ. Loving grandfather of Elisa Saxton-Lopez. Also survived by his cherished dog Rocky. Jose's family would like to acknowledge his compassionate doctors, Stephen Rosner, Emirel I. Abramovici, Sudir K. Sinha and Stephen Barr, nurses Edna Paventa, Jennifer G. Caesar, Hyja Oh, Karola Behringer, the techinans and staff of Lillian Booth Dialysis Center of Westwood and his physical therapist Helen Russell. Jose was a Chef with 100 Bluprint Restaurant, New York City for over forty years and served in U.S. Army during WW II. Funeral from Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy at Church of The Assumption, Emerson, NJ at 10:30 AM.
