BLACK, Joseph, 83, of Northvale, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 10th, 2016. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife Johanna (nee Hartmann), step-son Michael Nagy, grandchildren Justin and Chelsea Vierling, siblings Patricia Davidson, Elizabeth Henches and William Black as well as his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his step-daughter Karen Vierling. Joseph was a warehouse manager for Leitz Inc, retiring in the 1990’s. The family will accept guests at Becker funeral home in Westwood, NJ on Saturday, November 12th from 11AM-12PM with a service at 12PM and interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow. Memorial contributions can be made in Joseph’s name to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
