A longtime friend. I'll miss Joe, as we reconnected a few years ago and shared some laughs together.

I worked with Joe 30 years ago. At a Spanish TV station. And remember him to be a very friendly, funny and caring man. I have not seen him since those days. But, his spirit never left me. Good Bless you, my friend.

Rest in peace, man. Now you can have a look on every musician in the world.

That's so sad to hear about Jo's passing away. What a fascinating personality he had, this planet has a loss now. But his sense of humor will be crossing the universe now without any limits, that's for sure. Jo, keep on doing your performance, wherever you are now.

I never met you in person Joseph, but I remember you very well through forums and shared interests in music, art and technology. You were always outspoken and larger than life and it's such a shame you've been taken from us far too soon.

I only learned of Joe's passing today and I am so shocked. Whilst I never met Joe in person, our love of music and technology brought us together online, and we had many fun and crazy discussions on all sorts of matters. Joe sent me all his albums and even sent me a copy of his first single on 7" vinyl which I still treasure to this day.

I will miss this unique and special person and his infectious enthusiasm for life and for art.

I will miss his crazy wit, crazy artistic outbursts and his plain craziness. Never met him in the flesh but had many a nice chat via Kype. Joe was one of the good guys. Too young to leave.

You will miss me Joe, you were the only american best friend I've ever had, sharing Indian music, sitar and good vibration. I'm sure you'll meet all the other great musicians now and get a jam with ! I 'd play a raga for you. From France, Peace and love forever.

Joe, aka (el Chivo) was a great friend to me and I will miss dearly. He taught me a lot about working in television. My thoughts and prayers are with his good friends and family.

My old friend Joe... He was one of the most upbeat, interesting people I've ever known..always fun to be around, a person you could have a great discussion with on almost any subject. I can't believe he's gone....We're lucky to have his music, art and videos to remember him by. He will always be remembered.
