

Josephine was born May 29th 1930 in Newark. She graduated 8th grade from Oliver Street School in Newark. She then continued to work in a sewing factory.
Josephine married Salvatore DellaBlla. They were married for over 25 years. They had no children but many nieces and nephews who they loved. They both owned and operated a restaurant called Jerry’s Villa in Montvale. Josephine did some cooking and serving in the restaurant. She loved cooking in the kitchen and welcoming the people in the restaurant.
She enjoyed many activities such as spending time with her loving family and friends. She was member of the Rosarian club. She enjoyed cooking in her kitchen as she watched Betty Boop or Shirley Temple. She also enjoyed music, singing, and dancing.
She is survived by her many nieces and nephews also including great nieces and nephews. This includes her niece Michelle Civitarese and husband Thomas Civitarese and their children Bryan, Justin, and Nicole. Also, her nephew Joseph Cario and his wife Diane Cario. Her niece Carlina Augusten and husband Richard Augesten. Also, her nephew Charles Inguaggiato and his wife Loretta Inguaggiato. Also, her niece Marge Cario and husband Phil.
She is preceded by her husband Salvatore DellaBella, her brother Michael, her sisters Mary, Adeline, and Jean and her parents Umberto and Margret.
Josephine’s youth disposition carried on in her later years. She was more than just an aunt to us; she was a mother figure and grandmother figure to so many people. Anybody that met loved her. She a had such an infectious and spit fire personality. Remembering outstanding moments will keep her in thoughts and hearts forever. Her spirit will live on through our stories, memories, and hearts.
