Julie Blythe Bunce

Julie Bunce (nee Zell), 92, passed away on Friday April 24, 2026. She was formerly of Montvale NJ, and had been residing in Doylestown, PA since 2023. She was married to Howard F. Bunce for 61 years before his passing in 2018. A graduate of Englewood School of Nursing, she was an RN and worked for many years in the fields of labor & delivery, physician’s offices, and private duty. Along with Howard, she was part of the founding members of Pascack Bible Church, Hillsdale, NJ, where she sang in choir, directed the PBC Players drama ministry, and ran the College & Career ministry for many years. She loved singing and musicals, performing with many groups – the Oradell Playhouse; the Ted Cornell Chorale; the Refreshment Committee (Minneapolis, MN); Easy Listening group; and performing her own programs called Muse & Music. She will be greatly missed by family including daughters Jenn Bunce (Doylestown, PA) and Amy Hudak (Pearland, TX); sons Greg Bunce (Maple Grove, MN) and Todd Bunce (Chalfont, PA); seven wonderful grandchildren; and six equally wonderful great grandchildren. To celebrate Julie’s life and Christian faith, there will be a gravesite ceremony at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ on Friday, May 1 at 12:30PM, please meet at Becker Funeral home, Westwood, NJ, at 11:45AM. A Remembrance Celebration/Reception follows, 1:30-4:00PM at Pascack Bible Church, Hillsdale, NJ.
