She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tracy and son-in-law Chuck Redding, grandchildren Skyler (5) and Alexa (5) of Montvale, NJ, her brother Louis (Alloro) and sister-in-law Leslie (Cioffi) of Harrington Park, NJ and an extended family and friends who adored her. Julie was born January 15, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Tanina (Calderone) and grew up in Brooklyn, NY and New Milford, NJ. Julie was passionate about learning and lived her life “knowing a lot about a lot!” Her family and friends will miss having our rich resource, go-to confidant and counselor for all matters of life about which she knew so much. Always with style, Julie loved to laugh and play, especially in these last years with her grand-twins. May they always keep a piece of her in their hearts. “And so does the spirit become separated from | The greater spirit to move in the world of matter | And pass as a cloud over the mountain of sorrow | And the plains of joy to meet the breeze of death | And return whence it came.
