Karen and I worked together at the middle school. She worked hard to make lessons more organized, neater and easier for the students and teachers on her team. I remember how diligently she worked, quickly she learned, and how much she cared for the students. Karen took out her bible and headphones after lunch, and prayed for her children every day. Matthew and Valerie, you were the loves of her life.
Rest in Peace, Karen.

Although the services are now over, we will never really say "good bye". Your spirit lives on around us and especially in Matthew and Valerie. Sleep well now, Karen. We know we will see you and Papa again.
Love you,
Kathy

Your mom was such a lovely person who radiated warmth and love. It was my privilege to know her as both a colleague and parent. The best testimony to her life is you, her incredible children. You are the ultimate witness to her faith. I pray that you find comfort in the knowledge that there are no more tears or pain where she is now. I will be holding you up in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Karen in her spare time would help the nurses office in the Middle School with updating our paperwork, her expert skills with the computer was always welcomed. She adored you both and would talk about your achievements. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Miriam Lynn RN
