Kathleen babysat for my now all grown up children. They loved it when she brought her friend Beth Bonner. They called themselves Tickle Monsters. I remember when she married John and when Brendan was born. I crocheted him a baby blanket. My condolences to all.  May all your wonderful memories of Kathleen be blessings for you during these days of grief and sadness.  Mary Elbert

Dear Bonner Family,

I met Kathy for the first time when I was delivering my son Griffin , We had an instant connection  because we had so much in common- the same first name,  we were both L&D nurses, we  lived  a  few blocks away from each other,  our husbands were from Brooklyn and our oldest children  were  in school together.    5 months later, we met again but this time, I was her nurse for tbe delivery of her sweet Caroline.  After that, we would constantly run into each other. Our children would be  so patient as Kathy and I chatted away, neither one of us was ever at a loss for words . Kathy wound up working with me at HUMC,  We enjoyed many fun lunch/dinner outings with our fellow work buddies.  We laughed as much as we talked.   Griffin and Caroline also become friends.   Kathy was always so generous with letting their  friend group hangout at her  home ,  I frequently heard from my son “Mrs. Bonner is so nice”  to which I would always reply “ tell me something I don't already know”.    

May Kathy Rest in Peace and my you all find comfort in your memories,

Kathleen was a very special person.  When she suggested we take our girls to Jamaica for their sweet 16, I agreed wholeheartedly.  Although inside a bit scared about traveling with Katherine outside the country for the first time and by myself, Kathleen assured me that she would be there, and together we could do it.   She was right, as always.   I never would have gone on that special mother-daughter trip  without her. I wish I told her that...

 I'll forever laugh about the time Emma stowed away in her mini van at 6 years old. Getting the call from Kath asking me if anyone was missing.... 

Kathleen always told it as it was. She was real and honest. She inspired through her authenticity. Katherine recently mentioned to me that Kathleen was one of the reasons she became a nurse.  

Kathleen  was always a force of  strength, motherly advice and loyal friendship.  There is a void in this world that can't be filled..  I will miss her.  love you Kathleen

Rest in peace Kathy. Sad to hear of her passing. Lisa cherished your friendship through her own passing. Joanna and I remain grateful for your support through those tough times as well. Thank you. You will be missed. God bless you and your family.

Too many memories to mention of my dear friend.  She was a 2nd mother to my children when they were young. If my kids weren’t with me- they were with her! Strong, funny and always there for anyone. I will look back on our many years of friendship and all our diner dates with nothing but love. You’ll be forever in my heart, my bodyguard. Love and sympathy to the entire family. You were blessed to have been loved by her.
