Kay was born in 1944 and grew up in Montvale, New Jersey with her mother Kathryn Clark, father Lawrence Clark, and two brothers, Lawrence Clark, Jr. and Thomas Clark (who preceded her in death). She was a very bright and talented young woman. She loved reading and that hobby stayed with her throughout life. Kay devoted her life to her faith and continued living in the light of God throughout her entire life.
Kay cherished her three children, William "Billy" Carlson, Jr. (who preceded her in death), Mark Carlson (Chris), and Colleen Carlson-Nappi. Her greatest joys were her three grandchildren and one great grandchild, Billy's daughter Krystal Carlson, who had Kay's great grandchild Maci Overnyer and Colleen Carlson-Nappi who had two daughters Juliette Nappi and Danielle Nappi. She adored her grandchildren and gave them everything she could. She also had a special place in her heart for nieces and nephews to help others.
Kay worked for Jamol Labs as the office administrator for over 30 years and was very passionate about what she did. She took pride in her work and was known for her organization, dedication and willingness to help others.
Kay will be remembered as a woman that was always there for others. She never hesitated to put others before herself ad had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and cared for. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will forever live in the hearts of her family and her friends.
