Kenneth "Kenny" Peter Sage (1961-2026) passed away on May 7, 2026. Kenny was a lifelong resident of New Jersey and lived for many years in Haworth. He was a high school graduate of the Marie Katzenbach School in Trenton and was employed for 30 years at the ARC in Hackensack. More recently, he attended the TATC in Teaneck. Kenny was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his sisters Susan Sage Vincent and Valarie DiLascio and his nephew Christopher Vincent.
Kenny was well known for his terrific sense of humor. He liked interacting with others. He always strove to be independent. As a young man, he enjoyed participating in sports - baseball, basketball, swimming, and running - and he was an enthusiastic bowler until recently. As a devoted fan of many New Jersey and New York sports teams, Kenny was a true armchair enthusiast, most often seen wearing the hats and shirts representing his favorite teams.
A kind, generous, friendly man who was always quick with a "thank you," Kenny was much loved and will be dearly missed by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30 10:30am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 Knickerbocker Road, Tenafly NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spectrum for Living Development, River Vale NJ.
