MEYER, Leona 'Lee' (nee Kostecki), of Hillsdale, NJ, Matriarch of the Alfred B. Meyer family, passed into the Lord's loving arms on Friday, May 22nd, 2026. Sister to nine. Mother to seven, Grandmother to eleven, Great-Grandmother to twenty-four and Great-Great-Grandmother to ten. Lee's love and commitment to family, faith and friends guided her through life.
Before slowing down in her late nineties, Lee was very much active at her St. John The Baptist R.C. Church and the Hillsdale Senior Citizens Organization. Lee, known to family as 'Gram', and to her Lollipop Nursery School family as 'Miss Lee', will always be warmly remembered as an incredibly sweet, honest and lovable lady, who rarely said no to anyone or any good cause.
A Mass celebrating Lee's life and faith will be held at St. John The Baptist R.C. Church, 69 Valley Street, Hillsdale, NJ on Monday, June 1st at 10AM with private cremation to follow.
