Our beloved mother was born on July 22nd 1942 to Leo Edward and Kathryn Agnes Fitzgibbon in Westwood NJ.
Our mother Linda was married to our father Thomas F Martin Sr. for 19 years, and her 2nd marriage predeceased to Thomas Ingram for 40 years. Linda is survived and will be lovingly remembered by 4 children Kelly, Tommy, Rene’e and Todd along with two daughters in-law Helen and Annemarie, two step children Tommy and Tara, 9 grandchildren Shonah, Jesse, Jennifer, Melanie, Jessica, Tommy, Tyler, Rachel, Noah, 8 great grandchildren Quinton, Sienna, Amara, Tommy, Adrianna, Savannah, Demi, and Raivyn.
Linda had 2 siblings Judy and predeceased by Nancy (Aunt Lee)
Our mother worked as an OR scheduler at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood NJ for many years, she furthered her career as the head of Purchasing for the whole hospital which was a high pressured job with a lot of responsibilities but our Mom as always excelled in her position with great honor. Mom retired in her late 50’s, they packed up and moved to Ocean City where they enjoyed their retirement years, we all vacationed there with them every summer with all the grandkids, these are memories that will never be forgotten. Maryland was our Moms happy place.
Our mother Linda was a very smart and beautiful women, she exuded strength, confidence and compassion, she was the rock of our family to whom we all would turn to for her honest advice and her words of wisdom, she always had the answers good or bad whether we wanted to hear it or not it was always the best advice. Our Mom gave us the tough love we needed when we were young to prepare us for the real world and we wouldn’t have had it any other way, it taught us independence as young adults and I can honestly say we could tackle anything life threw at us at a young age because of these life lessons. Our Mom wanted to make sure we knew how survive in the world and to me that is a lesson everyone should learn, and when we needed a shoulder to cry on she was always there to listen and to help in any way if needed. Our Mom was the definition of beauty, strength and wisdom, we were blessed to have such a teacher in life.
Mom, there are no words to describe how deeply you are loved, you will forever be missed by all of us, your strength and wisdom has made us all the people we are today and we will be forever grateful that we were blessed to have the most amazing women as our Mom.
You may have left this world but you will never leave our hearts
Rest in peace Mom until we meet again,
Love all of us
