Lorraine Mancini

MANCINI, Lorraine (Petronella) passed into Heaven on June 21, 2015. Lorraine was born in Jersey City, NJ on January l8, 1924. She later moved to Bogota, NJ and graduated from Bogota High School. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Corrado Mancini. They resided in Woodcliff Lake for over 30 years and before that Oradell, NJ. Survived by two loving daughters Joanne Toal (son in law, Robert) and Michelle Delicate (husband Louis). A devoted grandmother to Robert Delicate, Andrew Toal, and Amanda Delicate, they were the brightest light in her life.

Lorraine was a Retiree of the Bergen County Board of Social Services, in Paramus NJ. After her first retirement she became a Teachers Aide at the Temple Emmanuel Pre-School in Woodcliff Lake, and retired from there at age 80. Lorraine was a member of the Westwood House Senior Group for many years, her talents were endless and defined by her baking and knitting and had many interests. But what most people will remember Lorraine for is her incredible smile, warmth, and compassion, traits that were far-reaching. She was Aunt Lorraine to many nieces and nephews, who have great memories of time spent with her. Friends to countless to name, but a tribute to a life well lived and will be missed everyday.

Lorraine's celebration Mass will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 10am at Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions to VNA (Visiting Nurses of America) of Englewood Hospital, 15 Engle Street Englewood, NJ 07631 (201) 894-3333 would be appreciated.
