Louis Guitano Cambria Jr.

CAMBRIA, Louis G., Jr., 80, of Harrington Park, NJ, formerly of West New York, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. Louis is survived by his brother Paul and his wife Patty; his sister in-law Linda Jaworowicz; his nephew Scott Jaworowicz and his wife Donna; his nieces Tracie, Nichole and Tricia; his grandnephews Fred, Silas, Reid and Liam as well as his grandnieces Kaitlyn and Jordan. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Julia; his parents Anne and Louis Sr.; his brother in-law Bob Jaworowicz as well as his beloved friend Carole Schultz.

Louis had a passion for umpiring baseball and coaching football in Bergen County; doing so for over 40 years. He spent many years as a mechanic in NYC, only to go back to school and change his career path, becoming a high school history teacher. He enjoyed spending his free time golfing and working out at the gym. Louis was an ardent Mets and Giants fan, never missing a game.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, July 20th from 8-9:30AM. A Mass celebrating Louis' life and faith will be held at Our Lady Of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park, NJ on Monday, July 20th at 10AM with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow.
