Ward, Louise D. (nee Petrone)

On January 12, 2021 Louise Ward, mother of Stephanie Ward and Darlene Winslet and beloved grandmother of Sara Elizabeth Koll, passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years. She is predeceased by her beloved companion Thomas Bellersen. Louise was born in New York City, daughter of Louis and Gloria Petrone. Louise will forever be remembered by her family Maria Petrone (sister), Lucille Matthews (sister), Ron Matthews (brother-in-Law), as well as Peter Petrone (brother) and his wife Joanne. She was aunt to Paul Bellersen and his wife Kathryn, Ron Matthews, Jr, and his wife Rosemarie, Tracey Lee Matthews, Kyle Dave Matthews and his wife Melanie. She was a great aunt to Landon and Harper Bellersen, Zachary and Ryan Matthews and Sonya and Thomas Matthews. She is also survived by Lolita, the family’s faithful dog.

Louise was a fabulous baker. She made quite a few of her granddaughter Sara’s birthday cake and figures made out of rice krispy treats. Her whole family will miss her Chocolate Chip cookies and Chocolate Pistachio Cake. She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and making doll clothes with her granddaughter Sara. Louise also loved to sew and made costumes for Halloween, holiday banners and loved to help her family. She was a very creative person and will be sorely missed by us all.
