Lydia “Dovie” Arlotta (Miceli), 92 years old of Dumont passed away on March 2, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Lydia moved to Dumont in 1962. Prior to her retirement she was a children’s dress designer. Lydia was predeceased by her husband, George Arlotta and her sister, Joan Giustra. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Arlotta and Maria Brown and her husband Jim; her son, George Arlotta and his wife Jyl; her sister, Grace Zanki and her grandchildren, Meaghan, Caitlyn, Emily, Michael, Nicholas and Kristopher. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Friday 8:45am with a 10am funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church, Dumont, NJ. Interment will follow in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn, NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Lydia’s memory.
