Mabel V. Kearns, 90 years old, of Wayne, NJ passed away on September 12, 2015. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Fort Lee then was a longtime resident of Bradenton, FL before moving to Wayne, NJ 1 ½ years ago. Mabel was an administrative assistant for Scholastic Magazine in Englewood, NJ for many years before retiring. Mabel is survived by her husband of 69 years, John Kearns; her daughters, Patricia Juiliano, Barbara Bacik, Mary Martino and her husband Daniel; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30am at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 234 N Farview Ave, Paramus. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in Mabel’s memory.
