Mario Izzo

IZZO, Mario, 77, of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away with his loving family by his side, on Monday, December 5, 2016. He was born in Benevento, Italy to Isidoro and Francesca Izzo. Beloved husband of Elena Izzo. Devoted father of Mario Izzo, Frank Izzo and his wife Eva, and Francine Izzo. Dear brother of the Rev. Franco Izzo and Gianna Izzo Menduti. Loving grandfather of Katelynd, Timothy and Mia.

Mario was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ. He was a member of the Park Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the NJ Exempt Fire Association.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, December 8 from 2-4 and 7-9PM with a fire dept. service at 7:30PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Mario’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, NJ on Friday, December 9 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Mario's name to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church.
