You were funny, irreverent, smart, energetic--- an outstanding nurse and a very genuine, caring person. I learned so much about ED nursing from you, have so many treasured memories of you. I don't want to get too sentimental, because you would be cracking a joke. It was an honor to know you-- you have impacted so many lives. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I STARTED AS A SECURITY GUARD AT PVH BEFORE BECOMING A POLICE OFFICER IN EMERSON. MARY ELLEN ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND GAVE ME SO MUCH ENCOURAGEMENT OVER THE YEARS. THE OVERNIGHT SHIFTS WERE NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT A VISIT TO HER TO SAY HELLO. GREAT NURSE. BETTER PERSON.

I was a police officer in Westwood for many of the years that Mary Ellen worked the PVH ER.  She was always a welcome sight when I had to bring people into the ER.  Many people will have very good thoughts of her for years to come.  Great person, great ER nurse.

Mary Ellen  will be sorely missed by your PVH family. 
You touched so may lives including mine in so many positive ways. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. You made a difference. Love you.
