Marzocco, Mauro J. Age 83, Loving husband of retired Professor Joann Theresa (Garbarino) and devoted son of the late Joseph Michael and Mary J. Marzocco. Mauro was a Bergen Community College founder in 1968, and has served as Senior Full Professor of Mathematics, Science and Engineering until the present time. During the decade of the 1990s Mauro also served the College as Academic Dean. Throughout both his personal and professional life, Mauro’s beloved role model was his late dad, Joseph who retired as Chief Engineer at Holy Name Hospital, following a previous retirement as Chief Instructor at the New York City Fire College, where he taught life-saving, fire-rescue skills. Mauro, in his spiritual existence, continues to walk with Jesus Christ in all eternity.
