Beloved son of Douglas and JoAnn Blauschild. Cherished brother of Michelle Harney (Blauschild) and brother-in-law Kevin Harney. Loving uncle to Kyle, Anna, and Leila. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, he lived in the Bronx for the last 10 years and had spent most of his adult life living in NY. Michael was an avid student achieving his BS in Political Science at Binghamton University, his law degree at Rutgers University in 2004 ,and then years later a Master’s in Public Health at Hunter College. He worked various jobs as an attorney over the years. Michael always had a passion for politics and social justice. During his undergraduate years he worked as an intern with Congressman Steve Rothman and had the opportunity to ride in a motorcade with Bill Clinton. His true loves were Gotham Volleyball where he formed many meaningful friendships and his dear cat, Sagan.
