His dedication and hard work were evident throughout his nearly four decades in business.
An avid sportsman, Michael found joy in activities like tennis, golf, baseball and softball. He was an all-star pitcher for Hackensack Highschool, the same place he met his beloved wife, Janet. He was known for his prowess as a first baseman and his powerful hitting.
Beyond his professional and athletic pursuits, Michael had a deep appreciation for nature. He found solace tending to his birds and flowers and cherished the companionship of his numerous pets, including cats, dogs, and horses. His love for the outdoors was complemented by his devotion to reading, with a particular fondness for the Bible. His faith was a guiding light throughout his life.
Michael had a larger-than-life presence, always ready with a story or a joke to brighten the room. His sense of humor and ability to connect with others endeared him to all who knew him. Even in his final days, he brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
While his passing leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones, they take comfort in knowing that Michael is at peace after a long illness. His memory will be cherished dearly, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved son, Mickey, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
