Michael Robert Delehanty

Michael was born in Englewood, NJ on June 4, 1960 to Robert and Helen Delehanty. He graduated Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, NJ. He followed his passion for masonry and became a talented mason. He was quick with a joke, wore his heart on his sleeve, and always ready to lend a hand. He had a love for the outdoors and was happiest fishing and vacationing in Minerva, NY with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his children Ryan and his wife Danielle, Kelly and her wife Suzanne ‘Suzie’, Megan and Logan; his grandchildren Nolan, Conor and Maeve; his siblings Elizabeth 'Libby' Durie and her husband Keith, Patrick Delehanty, Margaret 'Peggy' Fornazor and her husband John, Timothy Delehanty and his wife Renee, Eileen McLaughlin and her husband Daniel and Katie Delehanty, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Helen, his sister Bridget McLaughlin as well as his siblings in-law Edward McLaughlin and Bonnie Delehanty. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Church, Hillsdale, NJ.
