

He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Klingele, and his cherished children, Edward, Brayden, and Avery. Michael was the devoted son of Roe Klingele and the loving son-in-law of Janet Buldo. He was a caring brother to Stephanie McElduff and her husband, Chris, and a dear brother-in-law to John Buldo, Maria D’Andrea and her husband, Michael, and Christina Santagato and her husband, Eric.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Ed Klingele, and his father-in-law, John Buldo. His unwavering love and presence will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Staten Island, Michael later settled in New Jersey, where he built a life centered around his family. He attended Xaverian High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton, where he met the love of his life, Teresa.
Michael had a distinguished career in accounting, beginning at PwC and eventually becoming a partner at BDO.
Those who knew Michael will never forget his sharp wit and boundless sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to find the funny side of any situation. His humor was a reflection of his genuine warmth, always using laughter to bring people closer together.
Michael was an avid golfer and a proud member of White Beeches Golf & Country Club. He was a passionate fan of the Jets, Mets, and Knicks and had a lifelong love for basketball. Above all, Michael’s greatest joy was being a devoted father, coaching and cheering on his children in their sports and activities as well as encouraging their dreams.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 10am at St. John’s RC Church in Hillsdale, followed by entombment at Garden of Memories in Washington Township.
Memorial Donations: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a fund established for Michael’s children’s future educational expenses would be greatly appreciated.
