Lorraine and family, What became crystal clear during the tributes yesterday is that Pic made everyone feel like he was their best friend. When he was with you he made you feel like your relationship mattered. From high school through life he was there for friends who needed his help or just wanted to have a good time and laugh.  He was all of our parent's second, or third son growing up. He shared many of our happy and sad events throughout the years. Even though we may not have seen as much of him lately, he was always in our thoughts and part of our soul. He will be dearly missed.

Lorraine, I only met Michael once but he left life time impression of kindness and beauty.

To Lorraine and the Piccirillo Family:  My sincere condolences on your loss.  Mike was a big part of the SIA family, and we are all diminished by his loss

When I heard this sad news, the first thing that popped into my mind about Mike was his smile. There was a genuineness about it. And there was no mistaking the very fun glint of mischief in his eyes.  The sense of humor ever-shining through. I was a couple of years behind Mike at SIA, but he always made time to stop and chat or offer encouragement. A truly generous sort.  To lose such a sweet and kind soul while still so young is heartbreaking. My heart goes out to his family.

Words are supposed to big a big part of my profession, but I have no adequate ones at this time.  Mike was my best friend growing up through middle and high school, my neighbor, team mate and occasional fellow trouble maker.  We both experienced things that happened far too early, but helped shape us into the adults we became. Our entire group was small, but very close, and "Pic" was its heart and soul.  May your gentle soul rest in peace.

Our hearts are broken over the passing of Mike. He was a generous, funny, caring loving person. With a sense of humor that was parallel to none. His presence lit up every room he entered. He had a way of knowing how to be there with his friends in any crisis. And,offer unconditional support. But most of all Mike knew how to love honestly and offer the best of himself to those he loved and who loved him. He touched countless lives. We are grateful that he counted us among  his friends. His spirit, charm, wit and sensitivity made him an uncommonly wonderful person. Our hearts are torn apart by his unexpected death. That we will never again hear his uproarious laugh, see the glint in his eye and be thrilled by his most spontaneous way of responding to you in a conversation, where you knew he totally 'got it all'. We have lost a brilliant, caring, funny and wonderful friend. Mike was not 'one in a million', Mike was 'one in a lifetime. We will miss you forever. All our Love, Alan and Ann

The last time I saw Mike he had a paintbrush in his hand and he and Damian were painting the first house I ever bought. They traveled to Rochester NY to lend a hand.  Just the kind of guy he always was, kind and helpful. Condolences to you, Lorraine, from my brother Doug and me.
