Millicent "Billie" Evans

EVANS, Millicent, “Billie”, 88, passed away at Care One @ Valley on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born in Plymouth, PA, to loving parents ArthurT. And Margaret Howells and raised in the Poconos. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Speech and Drama. After graduation, she taught at Keystone College in La Plume, PA and later at Moscow High School in the Poconos. She taught for many years in the Westwood, NJ school system as a substitute teacher. Billie was a long standing member of Grace Episcopal Church, Westwood where she offices in the Alter and St. Martha’s Guilds. She is survived by her daughter Laurie and husband Steven and daughter-in-law Donna Evans and her late son Craig. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Lindsey and Kimberly Evans; Michael and Daniel Wietzke. Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, on Friday 3-8 PM. A celebration of Billie’s life and faith will be held on Saturday ,11:00 am at Grace Episcopal Church.
