Nancy E. Flower

FLOWER, Nancy E. (nee Fitzpatrick), 68, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, formerly of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 surrounded by her family. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband Vaughn; her adored son Matthew and his wife Stephanie; her cherished granddaughter Annabelle; her siblings Diane Mone and her husband Dominick, Joanne Gannon and her husband John, Dawn Kranzo and her husband Al and Gary Quirsfeld; as well as her nieces and nephews Chris, Kimberly, Michelle and Gregory. She is predeceased by her parents Francis Fitzpatrick and Anne Quirsfeld; her step-father Donald Quirsfeld and her grandparents Hans and Anna Rotschka.

Nancy graduated from Westwood High School and the Katherine Gibbs College, starting her working career in her family’s restaurant, The Iron Kettle, in Montvale, NJ. She worked for Blue Mountain Industries in South Hackensack, NJ before devoting many years to being the administrator for the Woodcliff Lake Police Department. She was heavily involved in their D.A.R.E. Program, the Our Lady Mother Of The Church CCD program and volunteered as a Teacher’s Assistant for The Forum School in Waldwick, NJ.

The family will receive guests on Monday, February 15th from 4-8PM. A Mass celebrating Nancy’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady Mother Of The Church R.C. in Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Tuesday, February 16th at 10AM with entombment at Westwood Cemetery in Westwood, NJ to follow.
