Nancy Christine Middlemas

Nancy Christine Middlemas, 54 years old of Westwood, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 6, 2015. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Nancy lived in Waldwick, NJ for 19 years before moving to Westwood a year ago. Nancy was a teacher for 15 years and for the past 11 years she has worked in the Old Tappan Public School System. Nancy was predeceased by her father, Terrence Dougherty. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, David Middlemas; her mother, Harriet Dougherty; her children, Jeremy Ryan and his wife Nicole, Daniel Ryan and Megan Ryan; her sisters, Laura Ely and her husband John; Maureen Kuhl and her husband Gary; her brother, Michael Dougherty and his wife Richelle; her 9 nieces and nephews and many loving extended family and friends. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Monday 9:30am with a 10:30am funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Hillsdale, NJ. A private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 3-7 at the funeral home.
